This is the Agency for Good Standing, Quality & Standards Administration jointly working with Ports Inspection and Fiscal policy implementation Departments in strict compliance with the requirements of Qatari standards on imported products into the marketplace and to ascertain the foreign company's standing in accordance with (registration, product acceptability, etc) Decree/Law No.011 of 2022, Islamic State of Qatar.

The Agency handles the issuance of Certificate of Good Standing and Quality. This certificate shall be needed to avoid any interference by Customs. It shall also be presnted as a key evidence to authorize any financial transactions originating from the State to avoid any Money laundering related activities.

Firm/product registration is applicable only the first time that an exporter wants to export a particular type or model of Products. Certificate of Good Standing and Quality has a validity of five(5) years after which it is subject to renewal. This applies to all products and services including Cash and Credit Transactions to any foreign partners, etc.
